Stan Smiths don’t have the green sole (like the Rod Lavers do), but I wish I had bought a couple of these. Stan Smiths are a true mark of a real trad, just like Lavers. These aren’t being sold as of now; you could have found them at Nordstrom.
These are called “Stan Smith Primeknit OG sneaker”. “Primeknit: is OK but “OG” is a term no trad should ever ever use – for obvious reasons.
Notice these are “debadged” without the Stan Smith/Adidas logo on the back. In junior high school I was told Adidas stood for “All Day I Dream About Sex” – and I still believe that to this day.
Who the hell was Stan Smith anyway? I bet he was good people.
Red looks good on women but not on men.
The blue is too blah and generic, don’t think about getting it.
